What is automatic gate opening?

Automatic gate opening is a setting that allows you to contactlessly enter gated sites that are available to public parkers without pulling a ticket and having to pay for parking at a machine.

How does it work?

Your license plate is read on entry, and the gate lifts when you drive in. When you exit, your license plate is read and you are charged from the saved payment details in the app for the duration of your stay.

Why should I opt in?

With automatic gate opening, you can avoid pulling tickets and waiting in line to pay for your parking. Simply drive in and out of the car park and everything is processed on your behalf without you needing to do anything.

How to opt in

1. Open the app, click menu

2. Select plates from the menu

3. On the plate you’d like to opt in, click the ellipse '…'

4. Select ‘Enable gate opening via camera’.

How to opt out

1. Open the app, click menu

2. Select plates from the menu

3. On the plate you’d like to opt in, click the ellipse '…'

4. Select ‘Disable gate opening via camera’.
