How to open a gate

Gated sites can either be accessed based on a camera reading your license plate or by you opening the gate via the app. Sometimes your plate might not be read, this might be because your plate is dirty, or the angle of your car as you approach the gate. In this instance, you can also use the slide to open feature as a back up.

This feature is only available at certain gated parking lots.

How does it work?

Gate openings can be triggered using the Bluetooth signal on your phone. The slide to open option will appear when you are within range of a Bluetooth gate controller.

Your smartphone’s Bluetooth must be turned on to enable this feature.

What does it look like?

You will either see the option to slide to open

Or an option to press to open

What happens when I open a gate?

If you open the gate and are parking on the go, your session with start when you open the gate. When you leave, you again will slide to open the exit gate, and this will stop your session. You will be charged for the duration of your stay on your saved payment details.
